Ok, I’ll have to assume I’m not the most attractive looking guy in the planet.
I’m not some super prepared professional. I just managed to get a Bachelor Degree. But I don’t wear a suit and tie anymore.
My friends used to always laugh at me because they thought I was in one of those illegal pyramid things!
My parents kept telling me to go back to school and get a “REAL” job.
But I just had too much pride.
And plus, I always had way BIGGER dreams of BEING SOMEONE important in this world… but I wanted to do it “MY WAY”!
I didn’t want to have to get trapped in the 9-5 work, and be a slave to a boss I don’t like…
…just to help make SOMEONE ELSE RICH instead of ME!
(I didn’t want any part of that non-sense!)
Here is how it began. About 13 year ago, I was 17, just graduated from high school and looking for a job. A publicity company offered it to me. While training, the speaker drew an explanation on a board about how I could take advantage of my team efforts to rake in big earnings. It was an interesting concept but back at that time and being a teen, I did not realize what it meant. A few weeks later, I left my job and that concept behind.
I started my University studies, after changing majors a few times, from computer engineering to travel and tourism. Why? Because, at that time Argentina was suffering economically and I figured that this change would give me the opportunity to earn income in US Dollars. My income did increase, it was a great experience so much so that my next goal was to leave my country in search of a more confortable professional and financial position.
I traveled to Mexico, returned to my homeland and left again, this time to the United States. I worked in Travel & Tourism, my income grew. But it’s very difficult to be away from your nation for too long and leave everything behind in order to find a better economic situation.
From then on, I’ve been searching for a way to get a good job that you can do from anywhere, that way I could return to my country and finish with that terrible feeling of being away from your loved ones.
That’s how I came up with a home based business idea. I tried to associate myself with already established affiliate programs with great products and I tried to offer them via the internet without success because I was spending more advertising than I was gaining from the actual sales. I invested in some courses that taught me how to get more traffic to my site and by applying those techniques I was able to increase my sales a little bit, but again it wasn’t enough. Something was missing but I didn’t know what it was. I wasn’t able to find the solution I was looking for.
So now fast-forward 6-years later.
I finally figured things out.
(Yeah, I know… I’m a slow learner… but what can you do! 
You see, in the past year of 2007…
By watching big marketers I realized what my deficit was.
They all have something in common. What’s that? They work as a team, work together. That’s what makes them strong. And I needed to enter into their circle(“Think and grow rich” is telling you that every successful person before, was helped from a positive team on their side) the other key thing I found was: in order to succeed in this you need a mentor, someone successful is always a great guide that can walk you step by step in this new process you are willing to start.
And then I said “Ok, I need a Mentor” but, where was I going to find a successful person that was willing to help me?
Exchanging opinions in several forums. One of this guys let me know about a program “Mentoring for Free”, he said that for someone who hasn’t been successful this was a great program and you can learn or refresh some basics concepts that will help you along the way.
Then, I decided to take this course and learned what was in it. And it was a great decision, I learned a lot of lessons that I did not have before. So Micheal Dlouhy, thank you for guiding me at the beginning.
Having this in mind, I got in touch with other great Internet Marketers learning some incredible strategies and creating a solid team.
People say, the best way to master any discipline is not just learn and apply what you have learned but teach it as well.
That’s the reason why I created this blog.
